On the one day of the year when being a dad is truly celebrated, I created a concept to advertise this in the Grosvenor Clubs. Rather than looking at the usual stereotypical imagery that one associates with Father’s Day, I searched for something more fun.
Using the deck of cards as inspiration and the King of the House idea, I carefully recreated a card in vector format and then had some fun with such an iconic illustration, giving him a pint, a poker chip and tie, the latter being a tongue-in-cheek nod to the cliche gifts.
Also, rather than keeping the King confined to his card surroundings, I decided to let him break free and make him the focus of the campaign. As he should be 😉
